Dr. Phil Barnes has been an educator for over thirty years. During this period, he has taught students from the intermediate grades through grad school. His background includes study in both biology and history. He is a member of the Hawaiian Historical Society, Hawaii Ecotourism Association, and is listed in the “Who’s Who Among
America’s Teachers”. He and his wife, Diane, make their home in Hilo on the island of Hawaii.
