    This Ni‘ihau 36" 10 Strand Laiki (Rice) Shell Lei #1000 from JJ Ohana is available at Pop-Up Mākeke. 

    The ten-strand lei is made with Laiki shells from the Island of Ni‘ihau (The Forbidden Island). It was traditionally referred to as the wedding lei, as it was used in weddings and other special events. The gorgeous piece is finished with a cowry shell clasp, and due to the handcrafted nature of the lei, the shells will be in a range of colors.

    This handcrafted piece is unique and includes a Certificate of Authenticity that assures the buyer of its origin and specifies the Hawaiian and English names of each of the different colors and shells.
