Each card features artwork for Na Manaʻo Aloha o Kahoʻolawe, the diaries of Walter Ritte and Richard Sawyer written in 1977 while they occupied the island of Kahoʻolawe for 35 days as the bombing continued. The artwork was created while they were on the island. On the back of each card is manaʻo that tells a bit of the story of relating to that occupation.
We look forward to the republication fo the book to be released in spring of 2022.
